Swindon Silver Surfers

The Swindon Silver Surfers club is open to everyone over 50, whether you are just starting out on your first encounter with computers, have already attended local classes or had help from your friends and family but need somewhere to practice and explore the web further.

We have professional tutors present each week who can help you with anything from sending emails, using ebay and facebook, shopping online, using spreadsheets or building your own website. Share hints and tips with other club members, all in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. You can bring your own laptop or use one of ours (please pre-book), whichever you find most comfortable.

We specialise in supporting older people to use digital technologies from internet and email to social networking and blogs. Plus we work with everyone from learners and trainers to public businesses, private enterprises and older people’s friends and family to promote digital skills to learners of all ages.
